I ask members why is it possible that so many people are aloud to advertise so many caravans that don't exist and get away with it. Over the last two weeks i have found 11 of these. Which were duly reported. I wonder how many fall for these tricks.

necessary documents available. My current location is Scotland due to my
work commitments, If this is going to be a quick sale I will let it go for

Any of the large sales platforms permit anybody to post an advert. It is not possible to scrutinise each advert as they are placed & many are not obvious scams until you contact seller anyway. Treat any advert for caravan that requires payment before sight of caravan as a scam & you cannot really get 'caught'. Its that simple.
It is also pointless contacting any advertiser that advertises any caravan for a small fraction of it's value as its an obvious scam.
There's thousands of them. Not just caravan - cars, motorhomes, tractors, diggers. all sorts of stuff generally of the "boys toys" type. Some people must get caught otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.
If you follow jack buster on facebook you will get an idea how many there are. All of the free advertising sites have them. Seen in our local paper too.
