Got a good inch, maybe two, last night, just enough to re-surface the whole garden/driveway etc.
Hoping for the same amount, at the same time next week, but Buxton way, as we're planning on taking the tent up there Friday to Monday.
Anyone in the Derbyshire Peaks now? What's the latest on the snow front? Don't want too much, too soon!
About 2inches of snow up in Ashbourne, and still snowing a bit, most roads are passable including the lanes with care, the usual places are closed, Snake Pass, Cat and Fiddle, and the roads around Glossop and the higher ground, temp down to -1 on the roadsurface whilst we were out in the car this afternoon.

Just to add a continental touch, here in Vouécourt, Haute Marne, Champagne Ardennes, SE France. Light sprinkling of snow, sunshine and -7°C. Camping looks lovely but is closed until April http://campingvouecourt.sopixi.fr.

Miserly, what a gorgeous pic of the dogs! Good enough for a Christmas card.
No snow in Wirral...
Thanks,we do use pictures of the dogs and other members of the menagerie as xmas cards, though my wife and daughter take all the pictures, I am rubbish with a camera.

Thanks, Julia. Appreciate that.
If the forecast is to be believed, it's looking more like rain & drizzle next weekend, but at least the temps are rising (to around 7deg). Got a horrible feeling I'm not gonna get any snow on my tent!

Peasants,to be truly posh,it's coco-pops with chocolate milk.
Very icy up on Werneth Low this morning,no snow to be seen .
I can run to coco-pops flavoured porridge (Yes really!!) when camping (Only the "Just add boiling water" type tubs, but beggars can't be choosers)... and can highly recommend them, too!
But no... you're right... not posh enough for chocolate flavoured milk!
Ooh... Been bloody cold all day here in Downtown Derby, but all Saturday night's snow had gone by Sunday Dusk, and it's all back to being grey and miserable around here... and not just around the football stadium!

Crunchy nut cornflakes with banana milk , coco pops with chocolate milk , coco pop flavoured porridge , when I see women in the supermarket loading their trollies with all that stuff , I imagine they are giving it to their poor unfortunate offspring , not their grandparents , I'm still learning something new .
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
