As a mother of twins who used to have to lug them around in a twin buggy people parking on pavements is a really big bug bear. It forces people with kids, those in wheelchairs etc on to the road and is really dangerous for people with poor eyesight.

Do people care? No cos obviously being able to park near your house is far more important than disabled people and women with babies being able to safely leave their houses - gggrrrrrr

Anyway when my kids were small - the twins group in town got the local press involved as well as the police, which stopped the problem for a while.

Set an angry mother of twins (who hasn't slept for a year or so and is having to circumnavigated her huge cumbersome double buggy around parked car into a busy road) on them and believe me the miscreants who aren't parking properly won't do it again for a while !!

If you are buying a lightweight caravan like an Eriba you could probably manhandle it into your driveway without the need for a motor mover. Once they are rolling they are easy to manoeuvre or failing that, just push it into the driveway then hitch up again for the rest of the 100 yards. Inconvenient maybe but life is full of inconveniences
