Well my daughter bought me a ukelele and a "how to play" book. Absolutely delighted with my gift despite sore fingers!
Anyone else get something unusual?
On my daughters 21st my son brought his sister an inflatable 2 man dingy and a picture hanging kit. He said well you'll never forget your 21st.....He was right!

Ah, wilting flowers... got you, further away daughter sent flowers via "Flying Flowers" I'm sure they cost a fortune, the local garage does better, but it's the thought, so I'll shush. Still not pleased that she was ripped off.
Regards birthday gifts, one of the "better" ones from the OH was a Flymo, he's never lived that one down!
Well l got a Willy plant from my youngest daughter, and a cheeky message in my card, its one of those plants with big red and green leaves, with a yellow 'Willy' sticking up out of the centre of each new red leaf, and it looks quite rude!
Her next eldest sister didnt even bother sending me a card, she just sent me a text 'Happy Mothers Day, can you lend me some money please to put a deposit on a house that l like, lm tired of this Flat'!!
My next eldest bought me the usual bunch of flowers and a card, My Eldest send me a nice message Via Facebook, but the toughest thing today was not having Kay turn up on the day with her big smile and a hug and the prettiest card she could find. I cannot believe that shes been gone for nearly 8 months already, l miss her so much xxx

My son (18) assembled a number of pictures of my dog, and made a calendar for me. Must have taken him hours, especially as he didn't realise Publisher does calendars, so improvised by creating tables and putting in all 366 days by hand!
Daughter got me a mug which reads something like "I love how we don't have to say out loud that I'm your favourite child" as a wind-up for her brother - and it worked.
