I was just mentioning in another thread , about my best ever wet shave , and it got me thinking about , my bestest life memories , most of mine would involve my daughter , including my presence at her birth , and her first appearance on stage with her dance troupe , at the age of three , proud times indeed , one of my favourite memories would have to be of her mother though , at the time , my girlfriend , late eighties and a big frizzy hairdo and Dallas shoulder pads , we'd just arrived at walthamstow market , typical street market , shops , pavement then stalls both sides of the street , there'd been some heavy rain , but it was lovely sunny and warm by now , we were just about at the first couple of stalls and manoeuvring the crowds , she was in the lead by about a yard or so , all of a sudden the stall holder decided it was time to empty his water filled canopy , talk about a tsunami , luckily though , it completely missed me , the old woman wasn't quite so fortunate , I could barely stand up , ;-) what I would have given for a camera phone at that time ...
We had taken our little 4 berth Sprite to Wales to try and salvage our marriage.
First thing in the morning my wife was sat on the bed eating some Rice Crispies.
She used to eat like a cement mixer just to wind me up, when all of a sudden, the centre section of the bed collapsed. Back she went, chucking the bowl of cereal over her face.
When she sat up, she looked like an extra out of a cheap horror film with milk coming out of her eyes and crispies all over her face and hair.
I have never laughed so hard in my life. They say karma is a b***h, but then again, so was my ex-wife.
More recently, in 2011 I went abroad for the first time.
I rode my motorbike down to the Tarn Gorge. We stopped in an overlook and it was the first time I had a chance to take the view in.
For some reason, I felt very emotional, as though I had achieved something great, it was like I was stood on top of the world.
I've no idea why I felt like that, but that moment will stay with me for the rest of my life.
------------- I can't add years to my life but I can add life to my years

Most of mine are my first sightings of a species of wildlife. The first time I saw a badger, my first otter, my first sea eagle. The topper would have to be our holiday to the Kruger National Park. My comment on the plane home was I can die happy now as I have finally been to Africa.
One other would be standing with my husband making our vows. At the age of 40 plus I had given up finding love.
Tutt tutt fnz , not everyone's mind is in the gutter , ;-) , the beaver is a strange looking thing indeed , a wierd looking tail end , right by its bum , a strong and powerful mouth , be very afraid if ever near it , remember what it can do to the largest of trees and can stop a mighty river stone dead with the use of it , so don't get in a row with it .
It has been hunted for years by man , mainly for its furry bits , but also for its glandular secretions .Beaver
