Very sad to hear of the death of Rick Parfitt today. I saw the Quo on many occasions, always enjoying a great night out.

RIP Rick, thanks for the memories.

So from what I read, he gets a shoulder injury, goes into hospital, gets an infection and it kills him. What is going on in some European hospitals? RIP Rick. I loved playing the broomstick to "Caroline" back in the day.

History of heart probs. If you want to blame the hospital it will have to be the private hospital in Spain where he died.

I think a lot of the 70s rockers have done well to last as long as they have. It's just the rock & roll that never dies.

Used to see the Quo on the Isle of Man at TT week.
Always seemed very approachable people.
Very sad.

I saw Staus Quo years ago when they opened a Queen concert I was at - had the place rocking. It remains one of my best memories. RIP Rick.
