Back to reality today. We had a wonderful trip to Mull and it was great finally getting to meet up with you ficklejade. We are already planning on returning next year. Thanks for all your help in making it a super wee holiday

Admin, I'm sorry if this thread is turning to chat but my email is not working at the moment.
But I wanted to say that, in all my years on here, it's the first time I've actually met any UKCS members. UKCS members give out so much help and support online but when, due to my family circumstances, one's spent the last 10 + years in virtual isolation apart from close friends, it's quite a hurdle to overcome to meet them face to face. But when I walked in that cafe door, Armchaircamper, thebiz, krazycamper and lovely friend could not have made me feel more at ease and welcome.(However, have to warm them that almost the entire island has logged the meeting!!) Thank you all and thanks to Jeff, without whom I might have missed the post altogether.

We didn't see any otters but we had a fairly close encounter with a white tailed eagle at Carsaig, Krazy was beside herself. Then Armchair went all Lorelei on us and sang to the seals until we had about a dozen popping their heads out staring at us....they are inquisitive. Another lovely afternoon
