I am a map reader and have no wish for one so know nothing about them. My Mum however would like one. As she will be 87 next week it needs to be simple to operate, she needs to be able to turn the volume up and she won't want to spend lots on it. She will only use it in the UK, most probably only in Yorkshire
I assured her that folks on here would know what she should buy and therefore eagerly await your suggestions
I’ve got one she can have if she wants. It’s quite a few years old, it’s a Garmin, and it’s got lifelong U.K. maps with it (if I can remember how to do that...).
But she’s very welcome to have it, and then if she doesn’t get on with it, nothing lost.
