I tried that site but no-one on it would insure me. I am now in the process of trying other sites but its annoying that these companies only want to insure people who are extremely low risk, even those who say they will insure people with pre existing conditions. I was just wondering if anyone had any direct experience of this problem themselves and how they resolved it.
We no longer go abroad, but when we did, we used a company called Avanti, they insured George's conditions ( although mild compared to some) worth a try?

The CCC gave me the third degree then wanted nearly £300 extra for my asthma. The CAMC asked if my meds had changed in the last two weeks and there was no extra charge. I think it was about £300 for both of us and the van breakdown cover for 4 months.
