Guys, I work for Calor and can tell you there is no long term plan to replace the Calor Lite cylinder. The cylinder has been found to be difficult and expensive to maintain. Any dents or scratches in the shell of the cylinder instantly means it has to be scrapped. Between the lightweight design, and how their treated by the end users and dealers means their working life was too short to make them a viable business option. Calor is actually looking at reducing its range of normal cylinders.
Certain place in Essex, loads of them. I'm sat in a Spanish campsite just now and the French caravan next to me has two in his front locker! No pigtails attached I must admit! Makes you wonder!
