I’m having problems with a new submersible Whale water filter as it keeps floating to the surface of the water butt letting air into the pump. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I cable tied a length of copper pipe to the water pipe, stops it turning up and getting memory in curled state.

Sounds like a plan! Never had trouble before replacing the filter this year.
