As its a spray system do not go anywhere near it. If it worked all modern houses would have to have it. If the loft becomes too insulated it can cause serious condensation problems and removing this isn't an option.
Far simpler to ensure you have plenty of loft insulation which can at least be removed if required.

If its the spray under the tiles stuff. Why would you need it if you have insulation twixt the loft floor and the rooms below. There should be no heat up there to retain.

I read recently that the spray systems can affect resale value too. Lofts need ventilation. otherwise you could end up with rotten timbers etc.------------- Always edited for sloppy typing - when I spot it!

Its not a bad idea to insulate the loft roof supports as well as the floor of the loft. However I have always understood that if you insulate the roof support timbers you have to leave a gap between the felt and the insulation to prevent condensation. Depending on how the inside of the loft is constructed it might be worth thinking about using a Multifoil product?

do not use closed cell foam, as this will stop future mortage, i had it installed when i moved into my house 6 years ago as being old house its only slate with no underfelt, it cost over £2000 and yes it did make the house warmer, however i was thinking of getting a lifetime mortagage ( didn't bother in end) and all companies will not issue with closed cell insulation in the attic. i have since removed the foam took a while using a ciporating scraper, and had to dispose of the rubbish, and noticed how cold the attic got since the removal, so i bought sheets of polystyrene and place them bettween the rafters and its made it better, i removed it as when we pass on it will be left to daughter to sell and thats when the trouble would start when trying to sell only a cash buyer would buy it so limiting the price she would get, so from my experiance i would say DONT,

This is a link to the Multifoil insulation. It looks relatively straightforward depending on the construction of the roof space.
