I have received disturbing news from my son that Ficklejade has passed away following an illness.
He knew her due to them both being motor sport radio marshals and the rally club made the announcement last week.
She will be sadly missed by UKCS members as she was a mine of information regarding travelling around Scotland and the islands including Mull where she lived.

I’m very sorry to hear this. I have gleaned much information from her over the years. It must have been very recent as a quick search reveals that she last posted here on 29th January.

That's very sad news.

Her signature was:
" When I die I don`t want my life to flash before me in an instant, I want it to be a 3 hour epic !"

I sincerely hope she got her wish.
