No, not do we still need them for France!

Whilst cleaning out the 'van we found the unused breathalysers at the back of the glovebox. Instead of just chucking them, I thought for a bit of fun I would use one. Half an hour after a glass of cider, which was surely over the limit, I did the test. And the result was....zilch!
So did it ever work, or was it just out of date?

You should have read the label as it was probably 'alcohol free' cider.

They’ll have an expiry date, like the Covid LFT kits do. Likely to be 2-4 years after you bought them, from what I read online.

Surely a 'glass of cider' isn't going to put you 'over the limit'? I also have some of these somewhere. Im going to fish them out if i can remember where, and really 'test' them out after a few glasses of red.
