Although it says on the web-site there is a pet exercise area here, I can't see anything using Google Earth so wondered if anyone knows whether the services has a decent space to walk the dogs (on-lead) and whereabouts it is?
Use Chieveley rather a lot as a rendezvous/handover location for the dog rescue charity I volunteer/transport for. Not aware of a specific dog exercise area, but there are more than usual (for a motorway services) patches of grass around the site, BUT many are across the other side of the roadways crisscrossing the site from the parking areas, so not the most convenient and you have to have your wits about you to cross the busy roads!
Think I would suggest the grass area outside/end of the Travel Lodge as the best dog exercise area (Google map/Street view/Earth it to see layout), and it's also quite close to the HGV/Caravan parking area. Wouldn't attempt to park a caravan anywhere else other than HGV parking area.
