I was recently impressed by a relative's Foodi Max 9-in-1 multi cooker 7.5L so am thinking of buying one myself but should appreciate some advice, please.
It appears the 9-in-1 (with separate lid for pressure cooking) is maybe an older model? I've found the 11-in-1 (6L) with SmartLid at a reasonable price, but which is better? Is the model with 2 lids easier to clean (though more bulky to store)? Is the temperature probe on the 11-in-1 really very useful?
I'd appreciate the views of anyone who's used either the OP500UK or the OL550UK, please.
We have the Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill & Air Fryer AG551UK for the two of us and it is ideal however I have used it for 6 people when relatives have arrived. Roasts are brilliant. We have used the grill for steak and are seriously impressed.
Lastly it saves a fortune on electric bills as is quicker and consumption is lower due to it being quicker. Go for it!
I've had both the smart lid 15 in 1 and the 9 in one dual lid. The Smart lid wins hands down for ease of use/storage etc. It is so easy going from saute to pressure cook without having to change the lid. What I would add is that for me, the 11 in 1 would have sufficed, I really don't use some of the added options. The built in thermometer is a bonus I do use but if I had the 11 in 1 my old thermometer would have done (I didn't think the 11 in 1 had built in thermometer but if it has, great) One of our daughters now has our dual lid foodi.
I was pretty convinced by Feeblecat's post but have now read reviews claiming the heating element in the SmartLid rusts after frequent use of the pressure cooker option, and others which say the bowl rusts and replacements are unavailable for the 6L. So, am still undecided!
I've just bought the Duo lid 7.5L (9-in-1) direct from the Ninja website. I've received a 10% off next purchase code, if anyone would like it:

I've not seen any of these reviews and can only speak from my own experience which has not seen any rust and I've used the foodi almost every time I've cooked a meal for over a year. The pressure cooker and steam roast are the functions I probably use most. I can't imagine needing to replace the pan, it is so easy to clean and again no sign of rust. I would agree there could be a shortage or difficulty in getting a replacement if you wanted a second one as they are flying off the shelves.
