With Yuletide beginning in Late October, it was no shock to find Easter Eggs on sale in a supermarket (our Village Shop was closed today). It falls on Sunday April the 9th for those interested.
I couldn't resist getting a pack of mini eggs just to annoy SWMBO.

I know - I saw Cadburys Cream Eggs in a shop today and had to be very firm with myself to resist them! It's a ruthless old business, retail... Christmas is dead, long live Easter - with a side order of St. Valentine's fripperies!
------------- Always edited for sloppy typing - when I spot it!
Creme eggs etc. appeared in my local Morrisons on 27 December 2022 when they re-opened!
I still have some mini creme eggs that I bought last year!

Last year?! Any I bought would be lucky to surpass last week...
I find them too sweet and sickly as I don't have a sweet tooth, good job too as I am now a Type 2 Diabetic so cutting down on sweet treat was easy.

My wife used to work in our local post office, which was inside the Coop. She said that they often had a stock of Easter eggs out the back over the Christmas period.

it's been said that life seems to pass more quickly as you get older but I think it's more that retailers rush us from one season to the next without a breather!
Yes, Easter eggs were on the shelves in our local Tesco, even before the remaining Christmas stuff was cleared away. It's ridiculous, isn't it?
