Well, we've now sold our UK caravan, with some very mixed feelings. We have one in store in France, so decided that we could not afford to have two and that we would only use the UK one because we felt we ought to. As it happened, the buyer found damp which we didn't know we had, so we have been saved some problems down the line. We still hope that we have done the right thing, but only time will tell.

Sell to a dealer, or regular Joe? Dealers will always find damp, as will anyone else this time of year. Its in the air, its everywhere. Low readings - sub 15/20% shouldnt impact a price
Ordinary Joe (so far as I know) equipped with damp meter. He showed us and it was obvious. As we were selling the caravan fully equipped, we hadn't cleared out all the lockers, although none of the stuff inside had seemed damp where we had moved it. Just our bad luck, I guess. We thought he would walk away, but he didn't and we came to an agreement. Once the source is identified, it shouldn't be too difficult to fix.
What really irritated was the refusal of our storage people to reimburse us with the outstanding amount (6 month's worth) and I bet they have a waiting list!

In that case, that spot would remain mine - unoccupied, until the Autumn! Its down to you when you fill it. Or not, as the case may be.
