We have just had a very enjoyable Douro River cruise, having had to rearrange it twice !
While there we received an e mail from this site to say we had won an Outdoor Revolution shelter and some Amazon vouchers

Thank you UKCC

We got home to find a cheque for £100 from premium bonds and won £20 on the lottery

The shelter has arrived and was put up in the garden where it will be very useful. I expect the vouchers will arrive via the post!

I had what I thought was a bad cold toward the end of the cruise as did my wife. We did tests when we got home and both had Covid

Both clear now but it certainly saps your energy.
I guess you win some and lose some.
We are fully vaccinated but no checks were done at the airports or on the cruise ship now.
Off over the Channel at the weekend!

We had an e mail asking us to put our names down for flu jabs later this year!
We aren't old enough for the covid booster yet but I expect they will be rolled out for us younger folk.
I guess having had a bout of the bug it may boost our immunity more.

We both had the pneumococcal jab a while back, it didn't agree with me which was a first. No problems from COVID or flu. I had a huge bruise on my arm for days and felt quite ill for a few days.
