Trying to buy a map from Dash4it and my payment has been declined, both by their payment company and PayPal. Has anyone else had this happen, did you resolve it? If so, how? Payment for shopping, fuel etc is fine, so are ATMs.

To minimise the risk of online fraud, a number of card issuers have issued 2-factor authentication; e.g. sending a text with a code to the card holder and asks the card holder to input this code, etc. etc...

Use another card if available would be my first action, in the hope that it works.

Then I would ring the card issuer of the original card that was declined, to see if they have put a block on the card - they do this if they believe the activities could be fraudulent.

If the above do not work, I would look for another vendor where I could get the product I am after.

Thanks, I thought it might have had something to do with Google Wallet, but no. Have purchased from Amazon instead. Tried my Barclaycard too, no joy. Phoned Barclays, no issues their end. The man I spoke to suggested using my laptop "that should work". Oh no it didn't.

Hmm. Never had a problem with Dash4it, but I use the option to “scan my card” on my iPhone for payment.
It’s possibly just a glitch with their server.
