I wouldn't have thought so unless you have a mobile router in the caravan to connect to the internet. Even so it all depends on the area because if the signal is weak then it could prove difficult to pick up a connection.
I could possibly be wrong but it would be interesting to see what others have to say whether my comment is true or not.
I don't know how the BT box works but I have taken my Amazon Fire stick with me on holiday and when working away to plug into the TV and I use my phone as a wifi hotspot to connect it to the internet. If the BT box is the same, in that it connects to the internet via wifi you should be able to do the same as long as you have a smartphone with sufficient data.

I didn't know what a Chromecast was either but the simplest way to find out is to Google it. That's what the internet is for and it's amazing what information is available especially for beginners for all sorts of devices.
We have BT Sport (now TNT on Discovery+) as part of our BT broadband package but it is only available on our ipads or phones. You cant get it on a smart tv and it cant be cast to the tv, nor can it be mirrored on the tv using cables. If someone has found a workaround please share
Thanks. Will have to turn off the home hub and try things. I have read that you can connect a tablet to the TV but no idea yet about casting. I thought that was something to do with fishing... Please can someone confirm whether I need a Chromecast device?
Thanks. Whilst sort of on the subject, we are having problems with Discovery+. The app has disappeared for one thing. Tried every way to get it and it keeps asking for a "pass" which costs £30 per month.
I'm sure we did as we had it, will.try again. Just tried it and it worked, on my phone anyway. I thought that it might have activated a second account from the wording. Thanks!
