I’m generally an avid non fiction reader now (that’s for a different list of authors) as I pretty much stopped reading fiction during Covid: never really bottomed out why, but I think it was to do with the tv news being horrible enough without reading made up stuff - I couldn’t even finish one of the later Harry Potters.
