I wouldn't hold out much hope of them complying with your opt out response (if they are 'cold calling' they probably don't have too many morals!), but filtering known addresses as 'Spam' works well.
I've had loads of them too, and ones about compensation for "emissions fiddling" by manufacturers. My car is too old to qualify for the latter, and every car I have bought in the last 40+ years I have bought outright for cash as I only ever buy older cars. I have only ever in my life had one new car and that was a Smart that I bought around the turn of the century with my redundancy money. Even that was an ex-demo one so I got a good reduction. Apart from the Smart the most I have ever paid for a car was the one we have now which I paid £4,000 for 6 years ago. No plans to change it either, and certainly no plans to take out expensive finance.

Forgot to mention that these are on FB and I can't see an option to opt out.
Hmmmm, I have had some success blocking FB adverts, however, it is quite tiresome with mixed success.
Click on the 3 dots, then see if you could block them that way.

You can report them as spam which may help. I have had 2 cars on PCP so get them. I signed up with one but after reading the legal stuff they sent, cancelled. ( you have 14 days).
Martin Lewis recommended not to use claims people as lenders should contact you, or you can write to them.
