One of my favorites was a white maxi, we would tow the caravan from Lancashire to Cornwall, but what made this special was, the back seats folded flat so my sister and I could sleep on the over night journey. Bliss! ??

I learned to drive in one of his Moggies. Passed test first time and that cost me 10 bob.
Took me 3 attempts to pass my car test, but then I'd never had an official driving lesson. I used to get my dad's Anglia out of the garage aged 12, and I'd drive it down the alley to the road where he'd take over. After failing for the second time (incorrect use of mirrors) I decided to have a lesson to find out what I was doing wrong and the instructor gave me a good tip. He told me to set my mirrors slightly out so that I had to make a definite head movement to see in them. I passed no problem, and I was still only 17. I passed my much stiffer PSV test first time at 22 and held that licence for 50 years.
