Max tow 1300kg? Some Quasar 524's are heavier than that.

Already seen that but this is the ISG(idle, stop,go) so tow is just over 1600 which is on par with the Skoda superb I use at the minute.

Should be all good then, check the towbar noseweight.

Just had a quick look and the Witter and Brink states 85kg, but the Bosal one is only 60kg?

The skoda is a good car and quite popular why change for the optima ? Don't get me wrong I think it looks nice but it never really took off
I think the residuals will be far lower than the skoda meaning you could lose you pants on one.

The Skoda is a great car and has served me well but at nearly 16 years old I think it is time for a upgrade
A local dealer has a Optima in low mileage high spec so was just trying to gauge opinions it's not a definite yet got other cars on the list.
Doesn't seem to be anybody using one to tow so there may be a reason for that.

I remember seeing one a couple of years ago, it looked really nice with a great spec, if your planning on keeping for a long time i'd go for it
