Help Im completely confused with towing weights etc..
I have a nissan juke 1.5 dci and when i look at the weights on the inside of the door, it says 1770kg then 960 kg and a lower weight of 860kg dosnt say at the side of these what they are - my caravan handbook shows MTPLM of 1300kg and miro of 1090kg

will i be able to tow this caravan ?

Figures I have say your Juke weighs 1285kg, so the large figure will be the Maximum Permissable Mass ie fully laden with fuel, passengers and luggage.

Towing rule of thumb says you shouldn't tow more than 85% of your unladen weight - or 1092kg in your case, especially if you are not an experienced tower.

Following this, you can tow your van if it's completely empty.
