ADAC issue their members with a monthly magazine called "Motorwelt" which looks jolly interesting, except we can't read German. We could translate it easily using Google Translate if only we could receive their electronic (internet) version . We tried to enter our details but they didn't seem to recognise our membership and have not answered two emails. We have also emailed Carina and Amanda at ADAC. Still no reply apart from an automated acknowledgement that we have a "Probleme mit dem Internetauftritt" and they would be getting back to us. But so far they haven't! Does anyone have any useful suggestions to get an E copy of motor world?
Very good point! ADAC is fantastic but surely they've moved into the online world re their no doubt great magazine if only I could understand German. I have no doubt they are ahead of us and have it online which can be translated into English but where and/or how? Any ideas will be gratefully appreciated.
May have been misunderstood. It was I, Leclerc, that was having the problem so Adac headed their email with their answer to Probleme mit dem Internetauftritt. Very polite email judging by Google's translation of the following:

It's strange but Germany can seem almost backwards sometimes - ADAC have only this year accepted credit cards over the phone (last year, I had to post my credit card details!). Most german shops don't accept any type of credit card, working after 5pm is rare, shops shut at lunchtime on saturday and don't open at all on sundays. I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if there is very little internet banking and Amazon is almost unheard of :-)
Nothing wrong with that, by the way, and it certainly doesn't hold them back :-)
