Oh that sounds good to be honest but just how far from Dorset are you?  I'm a male nurse and have to see patients in their own home and our pool cars are Renault and the new Megane is nice but the little Clio is utter rubbish.  I am looking for another car and maybe, just maybe I'll take a peek at some second hand Laguna Estates. Thanks again and happy caravaning.

Wow that is good for towing. I am impressed.  Thanks for the advice I'll look out for a second hand 2.2 Laguna.  Oh yes, nearly forgot......... I found out what that knocking at the rear of the car was! It was a couple of bushes that some sort of rear axle stabilising rods go into.  But, typical Citroen, the bushes are mounted in metal plates and they are £40 + each which means £100 for the two.  Dissera said the would do the job for £307 all in.  So I'll buy the two bushes and my boy, a mechanic at Thurlow Nunn in Norwich will do the job for me.  I'll drop him £50 so it will cost me half the cost of having the Citroen dealer doing it.

Again my thanks to you and everyone else who gave me advice on what it could have been.

Sincere Regards from
