That's my greatest fear is forgetting I am towing it
I used to have this problem with my nissan terrano, so I stick a post it note somewhere on the dashboard. If I start to go too fast, the kids all shout "POST IT!!".
It keeps the kids awake and makes them pay attention to what we are doing and where we are going. And no I dont deliberately go too fast. And yes I do pay attention to what I am doing.

.....unless to offer a hand, to help them up
Lane changes a bit daunting towing a 500 kg trailer
Its time to surrender your licence and catch the bus !
Ha ha . Weight not an issue just length did not want to move into lane too sharply and cause cars to brake or worst for them to have a trailer tent go across their bonnet, Im sure this is something you would not want to happen
