Apparently, as long as the work is done by an approved Adria service centre, then it's ok. We've not made up our minds yet, but to be honest, the guys at Venture are great. The sale was great, no hard sell. They pulled out all the stops when we wanted to pick our DT up a day early and the after sales have been good too. Had a slight problem with a pressure switch while away, got put straight through to the workshop. The guy in there talked me through fixing the problem. Fantastic service so far and I'd recommend anyone to go there. I understand Appleby10 was well chuffed with them too
I think I have been flicking through Appleby10's Sportline photos on more than one occasion recently!! Anyway, I will not stay up watching 'just one more' caravan related youtube clips tonight as all these late nights are going to cause a major shock when school starts up again! Thanks for your input!
We have had two Bailey rangers and they both seemed fine when towing, but I have to say now we have the Adria 542DT with the longer A-frame it is far more stable to tow than either of the Bailey rangers.
My hymer has the longer a frame, I believe it is much more more stable than uk vans, I would consider buying from Europe we brought our van from a dealer in Belgium and saved a lot of money, servicing the van when under warranty used to be tied in with holidays to france.
We tow the van at 98% match with a passat estate and never had any problems the German and continental caravan market is miles ahead when it comes to quality and usability
Our longer A frame Adria tows better than our previous lower folding camper. Just done 1200 miles or so round France and nor so much as a twitch to be honest. No shock absorbers fitted and to be honest not sure I will bother now.
Really really impressed with this van
Hi we have a Adria 542 uk and it tows like a dream, absolutely brilliant van as is the Adria range. I am always looking whilst towing at other vans swinging all over the place and these seem to be mainly Baileys. I would say from my observations that Lunar and Elddis are the more steadier.
Ours has the shock absorbers fitted and feel they do go along way in the aiding in the overall stability and towing characteristics of the van also.
