Always gone with the view if i can lift the front end its ok. Will check next time, just to make sure, i am within the limits. mine 100kg on van 250kg on car

.We do put the awning in the car,but theres only 2 of us so backseat is empty.So more for convenience.
Sorento has 100kg noseweight so fine.
I check wheel bolts and tyre pressures,before leaving home,lights checked at each hitch up.

Took a look under me car. The towing bracket looks like it was nicked from the Forth Bridge . . . a great clodding chunk of stuff. I was expecting a neat bracket or two with holes in `em for lightness . . . looks like Brunel had a hand in this!

Buy a gauge and check the weight till you become familiar with your set up. Also just give it a check from time to time as you accumulate belongings. You will be surprised at how the weight can creep up.
