If your insurance says it must be fitted then fit it. If your van is taken and the clamp isn't on you won't get a penny. Insurance companies aren't stupid, the first thing they will check is that the storage site allows clamps, they know some don't.

A quick look around the storage yard will confirm suspicion when they see all the other vans without clamps fitted. Then a quick ' can we see your terms and conditions please ? '

Hi i used to store my 1st van at stone, Have you had a look their ? it was a brilliant storeage site with plenty of room all around your van.
i wouldnt store my van anywhere that parked them to close, I trust my own driving skills but dont know what my neighbours are like, so i wouldnt leave it to chance.
i like both my caravan and car dent free
