Test past in 1986,have PSV licence (coach driver) too, new to this message board so sorry if i have not replied properly to your answers!

we towed an Elddis Compass Rally 640 with an 07 plate Terracan - no problem , slightly lighter than the Crusader. Fuel consumption towing was 27mpg, note however this not a true 4WD in as much that it does not have a differential so unless the wheels are slipping you should not use 4WD as the retractable drive shafts will lock up & stall the car as I know to my cost,that said it towed the 'van thro 4" snow in the lakes no probs & could go like poo off a shovel

Thanks very much for your input we have borrowed a Terracan for our holiday and we were impressed with the towing.Shame they don't make them now,can't think what Hyundai have replaced it with?
