Sitting at 60mph seems to be working the car so much harder. Also we are very strict on what we pack to take with us. New van is around the 1380kg mark with all our kit on board. Always amazes me when I see the amount of stuff people take away, almost like the caravan is like a big storage box so the stuff goes with them wether needed or not.
id agree with that.we hit about 30 mpg at a steady 55 towing with our mondeo tddi,go for 60 and it drops to aound 27-28.sticking at 50 and 32mpg is achievable
