There are 2 things that are required in driving these days. Education and tolerance, both of which seem to be distinctly lacking in ALL road users these days. I agree that lorries pulling out into the 'outer' lanes of a motorway is frustrating, however Tentz obviously has some experience in HGV driving and has suggested the reason why it is done (Education). Tolerance is now needed from others, if your average journey takes another 15 minutes to get home does it REALLY matter?
I do honestly wonder, I am as guilty as the next man (or woman) of how many of us have brushed up on the highway code since passing your driving test. Might shock some of the rules and regulations that have changed.
Back to the OP. I personally would pull over when safe to do so to allow queing traffic to pass, as has been pointed out the limit to towers is 50 (on said road) but to non-towers (is that a word?) is 60.

I agree, but it is not always possible. Some 'A' road and Motorway slip roads are either too short or are formed of an uphill incline to enable you to reach 50mph+, and that's without a 'van on the back!!!

Did exactly that a couple of years ago when I took the son for his theory test. Having nothing else to do, I began reading the book he had to study before taking his theory test. I was amazed at how little I knew and how much had changed since the last time I looked at the highway code. I certainly wouldn't have passed a theory test that day.

And some are so chock full of cars in all lanes that no-one can move over and let you in!
