 Anyone bought a car through "Club Auto Save" 

If so what was the service like

as they are £3.500 cheaper for a ford focus c-max than the local dealer

Just had a look on there site. compared some cars on there with other dealers. they look over priced before & after the discount. go & have a look at the car people. no hassle & good prices.

I asked them for a quote at a show 4 years ago - part ex'ing a 3 year old Honda Civic with 90,000 for a new one - I haven't had it yet.

We bought our Octavia on personal recommendation of a family friend from Autosave. Unfortunately we bought a lemon. It resulted in four months of stress with the car in the local dealers more than on the road. Thankfully repairs were covered under warranty and the local dealer was fantastic (the mechanic is now bald though!).
Replacements have included:
Radiator; both rear tyres; electronic control unit: battery; other electrical parts and hundreds of fuses. In the end the fault was a feeder unit to the ECU.
To eliminate the tow bar electrics as the cause of the problems, the dealer disconnected it but refused to reconnect as it had not been fitted by a dealer. This cost us about £30 so not to bad.
All this in a vehicle that was one year old and covered 11500 miles.
Each to their own view though. I am sure most are satisfied. However, I will not be buying from them again.

Local ford dealer let us down said there was a new Focus c-max (cancelled order) and would ring us with details with poss delivery in 2 weeks  .. and you guessed it they never rang .. Ah well keep looking
