Hi - please see my previous email. My hubbie was suppossed to organize to have a tow bar put on my car and he has not. I am now annoyed an am trying to get it done myself to prove I can do it and I do not have to wait to see if he can fit it in. If you can recommend anywhere or give me any tips I would be truly grateful. I could then gloat! seriously I can then take the kids bikes on holiday with me. claire x

Had mine fitted by Jim's Towbars. I gather they are a national operation and should be in yellow pages. The prices are reasonable, and they will come to your home or work to fit it.

My car has quite complicated electrics (Citroen), but the fitter seemed to know what he was doing, and when I tried it absolutely everything worked first time.

You could also get a quote from your usual car servicing dealer, and try the Towbar specialists in yellow pages.

I live oin Sutton and had a chap called Jason Moody (07931 848116) fix a tow bar to my Ford Galaxy. He was very pleasant and comes to you to do the fitting. He was recommended to me by Dees at Croydon.
