Hi, i have a lwb pajero and a creighton binns folding camper, the nose wieght loaded is 38 kgs, I believe i need about 75 kgs nose wieght how do i increase it.

Firstly, are you sure you need 75Kg noseweight???

For correct balance, noseweight is usually 4%-7% of the van/camper.

What does a creighton binns folding camper weigh?

Secondly, noseweight can be adjusted by moving the kit you put in your camper fore or aft of the axle.

Hi, You dont actually 'need' 75kg, This is a guide to the max you should have, unless the rear of the trailer is very heavy and lifting the rear of the pajero (which is very doubtful) and it is sitting level you dont need to alter it.

I don't understand why you need 75 kilos noseweight, surely vehicle noseweights are maximum not minimum.

are you confusing the common max nose weight for a tow bar/car being 75kg?? the pajero or shogun can take well in excess of that. shift all your weight to the front of the trailer. no chance of the tail wagging the dog then. make use of your strong car and be safe!
