Really pleased just got back from collecting my caravan from storage and used the sas stabiliser for the first time. Very impressed by the way it stops the back end of the car wallowing up and down makes, the drive much more relaxing.

I too was sceptical when i first got a stabiliser, but must say it also stopped the wallow, and smoothed the occasional twitch from passing wagons etc.
The only stabilisers designed to remove the wallow are the AlKo 3004 which have 4 pads in them. I've not used one of those, but must say the AlKo 1300 is a world apart from the Snakemaster, which is identical to the SAS in all but name. The Snakemaster in turn was a whole lot better than nothing at all. The main reason for my getting the AlKo is that I was always in a rush and forgot to put the Snakemaster on a few times, wheras the AlKo is part of the hitch and takes no fitting other than initially replaceing the hitch. It also makes hitching up safer as you have an indicator which pops up to confirm secure hitching.
