I have a kia sorento manual diesel, i am a bit wery to use my cruise control when towing, the hand book does not say not too or advise its ok, been on to my local dealers not much help

Does anyone use there one when towing, does it cause any problems

its all a matter of personal choice.

I use my cruise control when towing and find its great , if the car needs a little help i either drop out of the CC or just gas up a little. when I see a hill that I know the car will need some help toget up I drop the cc early and go back to normal use.

Yes, i've used it on my Passat when towing and it works ok.  There's that much traffic on the motorways so you are always in and out of it so now i don't bother.

I have a Mondeo tdci with cruise control and I use it all the time when on the mtorway towing. I get on the M62 at J21 Milnrow and as soon as I hit 55mph ( still on the acceleration lane ) I set the cruise. It is happy to stay like that until I come off the M6 at Carlisle ( that was the last outing ) Never any problems at all.

We use ours all the time and our friend who has a kia sorento does exactly the same.

Yes!

We have cruise in both our cars.

Solo use it for sticking to 30 a lot.

Towing mainly on motorways.

Don't tow a caravan but do tow a 2000kg trailer and use cruise without worrying.

Cruise control is also handy when going through roadwaorks with those Average Speed Cameras, helps mistakingly speeding and getting fined.

especially when towing and in 50mph roadworks!
