Hi, not sure I can help either really, but as you've had no views so far thought I'd add my penny's worth.......I'm not familar with your van, but we tow our Burstner (MPTLM 1500kg) with an Omega 3L Estate, petrol, manual. The weight ratio is fine, noseweight of 75kg has been an issue and took a bit of juggling moving things around a bit. Overall the Omega tows the van well and it feels stable. However, being petrol you do need the revs to move off and to climb hills and it doesn't like damp/wet ground. Reversing up slight inclines can burn the clutch if we're not careful and we wouldn't attempt any reversing where the incline was any more than slight. We had the car before the caravan. Now we have the 'van our next car will probably end up being a 4x4 just for that extra that towing a heavy van sometimes needs.
