The new Sprite Quattro looks like a light van, and Avondale are pushing the low weight of their new 6 berth.

We have a bailey which seems to be fairly good when compared to some of the other manufacturers. Try this link to view the "ranger" layouts:
http://www.bailey-caravans.co.uk/ranger/layout.php
or this link for the "discovery" layouts:

Our twin axle Bailey Ranger weighs in at 1540kg which is only 40kg more than our previous single axle. Doesn't have the seperate shower but the for us the fixed bed more than makes up for it as I spend more time in bed than in the shower lol ------------- -x- Diane -x-

Swift charisma 540, single axle but its a 5 berth with a seperate shower cubicle weighs 1500kg full loaded. Quite a large van for a single axle but OH says it tows beautifully behind our terrano!
Love ours ! Awesome van

I was looking at 6 berth vans last year. Avondale seem to be the lightest. I prefer the layout and finish of the Avondale to the Baileys too. A dealer did say that the cream GRP panels on Avondales are more likely to crack than white ones though, but that might have been because he was a Swift dealer.
