Hi folks

Got my eye on a new Renault Espace 2 litre diesel, the 130bhp model. I need to tow a Bailey 6 berth and all the usual trappings including the wife, kids, dog and kitchen sink. Anyone know how this car performs ? They have a 150bhp model which looks a lot better, but being a bit stingy I only want to upgrade if necessary.

 Have you checked the max towing limits on the Espace which is equally important as the bhp as some renaults have a lower towing limit when car is fully loaded ?

 your warranty would be invalidated if you exceed these limits so best to be sure before buying

The Espace has historically propped up many a reliability index but I get told off for saying that so have a google for yourself lol!

Lets just say my Renault influenced Primera is currently in the garage - the first breakdown I have had on umpteen Nissans and the only one owned since Renault caused mayhem at Nissan!
