Hi, Does anyone know what the maximum noseweight is for a 2005 Ford Galaxy? I have looked in the manual but can't seem to find it anywhere.

We have a detachable Witter towbar fitted.

Hi

We've had a couple of Seat Alhambras - the current is a 2006 130 TDI - and the hand books for both have said that 50 kg is max nose weight. However we noticed some posts on UKCS that Ford or VW badged versions of this vehicle had nose weights of 85 kg.

We e-mailed Seat with our vehicle details and they replied that the nose weight was in fact 85 kg. Still waiting for their answer to the question "why does the handbook state 50 kg....."

Have to say it was all but impossible to acheive 50 kg with our Bailey Ranger but 85 kg is easily acheived.

Just to confuse the matter a little more our 2006 Seat Alhambra 2.0 140bhp says 50kg in the hand book, the sales team said 75kg, the badge on th car its self states 85kg and the web site says 80kg . I hope Fords are a little more helpful

I had 2 galaxys
1997 2.8 & 2001 2.8 with factory fitted towbars, both had a ball weight of 85kg
