Can anyone recommend a good set of mirrors that they use when towing with Xsara Picasso.  Just bought our first caravan and are going on first trip this weekend, had a couple of pairs thrown in with the caravan one set will not go round the mirror other pair are absolutely no use as they wobble like mad.

Thanks.

A friend of mine has a Picasso, he bought Milenco Aero towing mirrors about £39 for the pair. He has been delighted with them - no vibration/distortion.

We had difficulty in getting towing mirors to fit our Picasso but we managed to widen the scope of the normal mirrors to give a clear view down the side of the caravan.

We evenutally sold the Picasso and now have a Kia Carens.

Hi olly0504
We got our first van about 2 months ago, we have a picasso and I had read many threads of people looking for good towing mirrors that fitted the rounded mirrors of the picasso, I had read good reports on the suck it and see mirrors HERE, but while visiting Towsure for some essentials for our first trip I saw THESE and decided to give them a try, and I must say they are excellent, easy to fit and very secure and give good visabilty, have used them on 3 trips so far without problem. pretty good value, they come complete with spare straps and fixing.
Hope this is useful

Hi,  Our Carens is an 06 registration. Diesel.  Well pleased with the towing. But then we only have a lightweight van. There was nothing wrong with towing the Abbey Piper with the Picasso. Just OH wanted a bit more umph!!!!!!  I tow myself and find no bother at all with it.  Sometimes forget its hooked up behind me.  What Reg is yours.?

Thanks for the replies, we went for the same ones T1gerJack has as we found a supplier locally where we could pick them up from, bit worried we wouldn't get mail order ones in time.  Have tested them and seem fine, I think were now ready for our first trip !!
