I have a ten year old caravan and the weight on the plate in the side is listed as M.A.W  1200kilos,  and underneath that C.A.P 314 kilos.  What does this mean please?

MAW = max authorised weight now known as MTPLM.

CAP = user payload ie what you put in it at a guess?
