So, the time has come to replace my wifes car and she has taken a shine to the Patriot. Normally we wouldn't use her car for towing but as the Jeep can tow just under 1500kg and hopefully has the traction and stability from 4wd it might be worth a try.

Does anyone on here tow with the Patriot or have any comments?

A review here for you, I am a car fanatic and read loads of reviews and they have all been pretty much middle of the road, nothing outstanding.

Residuals won't be particularly good I would imagine.  For my money I would go with something like a Kia Sportage, Honda CRV etc.  Kia for excellent warranties and Honda for the reliability.

Hi, I have the Patriot 2.0 CRD LTD which tows a Corona 482 ( MPTLM 1200kg) no problem. Fuel consumption is about 36 mpg solo and 29.4 mpg solo. I like the car on the whole but it could do with a bigger boot.

Hope this helps,  Tony

Thanks for the info Tony.

Do you know what the service intervals are? I've had Jeeps in the past and the 6 monthly service intervals were shocking, hopefully the newer stuff isn't as bad. I've got the brochure but this info isn't listed.
