I appreciate you want to close this, but please, as a woman, can I have the last word?

The five top reasons I love my Disco are:-

1. My bum never looks big when I am bending over getting something out of the boot

2. The rear view mirror is so big that I can still see what is behind me when I am putting on my lipstick

3. I love the heated seats, they keep me warm when I am wearing something a bit flimsy

4. I am sitting higher up than lots of other drivers, and they cant see down my cleavage

5. Finally, I love the look on men's faces when I reverse park perfectly in a small space, lower the suspension, and slither out off the cream leather seat!!! 

There are some sensible reasons too, such as the way the chassis stops it rolling about, the suspension going up and down makes it easier to hitch up, the sat nav is brilliant, and the engine purrs!

you can always tell when a disco is about to let go.

1- On the way to or from a holiday.

2- The kids have finally stopped fighting.

3- The engines running great.

But they are easy and not too expensive to repair (at least the discos 1's are). I even managed to pick up a speeding fine with a cracked cylinder head on the way home from North Wales, (watch out for the cameras, 35 in 30 with my daughter deciding to be sick over my shoulder)

We used Landrovers for many years on the farm, my brother has two of them at the moment. He loves Land Rover & is likely to go for a Disco 3 if he changes either of his. 

We tried several of them when we were looking for a change of cars 2 years ago, we need a six seater minimum so the only ones we looked at were seven seaters. I personaly think the third row of seats in the Discovery & Discovery3 lets the vehicle right down & I won't be buying one while we need more than four seats.
