Meths works well, not a bad idea to add some to the washer bottle as well.
I usually get this 'grease' following another car through the car wash, if they've splashed out for the super duper wash wax and blow dry

Vingar and water mix? Just rinse off well before you put the window wiper things on though! ------------- Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

the cheapo baby wipes would do it, if they have alcohol in them, failing that glass/mirror wipes work quite well, or just plain old washing up-liquid and warm water.

We cleaned our factory glass with ammonia. Make sure you are in fresh air though, if you use it. I dont think it would do your wiper rubbers any good!------------- Geeljay

Swarfega hand cleaner. (For the windscreen, not for drinking.)
Leave it on overnight then wash off with warm soapy water. Works a treat.

White vinegar works good on both glass & wiper blades. It's alot cheaper too compared to all those 'flashy' cleaning products. When you given everything a good wipe over just a quick rinse & your away.
To be sure I would do all your windows.
Our dealer did the same to my car just before I collected it. It's the fault of the valeter who is probably some teenage kid from school working weekends who doesn't know any better & who hasn't been told not to wax the windows.
