been offered one cheep obvious why.anyone on here had one .whats it like for towing.was thinking if bought would convert to lpg.

A lot of probs with the Freelander petrols, have a google. I would not waste money putting an LPG on one and personally would not touch one with a bargepole but plenty of people do have them.
I'd have a hunt around the net so you know the pitfalls first though!

1800 blows head gaskits 2.0 diesel is ok and not herd much about the V6 as fasr as I am aware this is a solid engine.
Stay away from the 1800, underpowered

------------- You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

They are very thirsty, better to have the TD4 diesel.------------- DS-There's more to life than football!!!

I vaguely remember reading a review of the V6 Freeloader in a caravan mag a few years back. IIRC, they got around 10mpg towing on the motorway!!!
